The purpose of this Symposium is to address the needs for accurate measurements, reference materials and standards that will facilitate the understanding and control of cell response.

Leaders at the frontiers of research in their field will discuss:

Cellular biomarkers for signaling and differentiation
Cell-materials interactions
State of the art measurement methods
Data handling and analysis

These leaders will also discuss the advancements in measurements and standards that will be required to further the development of innovative approaches to the design of new products and systems for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
